Add Annual Inspections in NSW in Your New Year Resolutions This Year

With rolling in of New Year, we all set our resolutions for the coming year, however very few of us make up our mind to keep annual inspections in NSW as one of our New Year resolutions! Most of us ignore the importance of fire safety of our buildings. Safety is the basic priority for everyone and we need to make sure that we ourselves are safe and giving our family a safe life.

The reasons for conducting annual inspections in NSW

•    The foremost reason is that you need to comply with the Government norms that need that your building meets the minimum fire safety requirements.

•    Once you do annual inspections, you are fulfilling the minimum requirements for protecting your building from fire and thus minimizing the risk of fire accident.

•    Although it may seem that the whole process is costly, in the long run you will find them to be cost effective.

Inclusions to remember

Fire safety measures would be different for different buildings; however the common things that everyone would get is-

•    Reports and Fire safety measures in accordance to the NSW Environmental Planning and Regulations.
•    These reports would be prepared observing the sites properly by experts in the field. They can understand all the fire exit points of the building and suggest measures accordingly.
•    Testing and analysing the board systems, ducts, cables, location of the fire equipments etc.
•    Photos along with the report to make you understand the major defects and suggestion on how to recover the defects.
